Sans surprise, Apple a dévoilé deux nouveaux modèles, iPhone 5S et iPhone 5C, lors de sa keynote d’hier,mardi 10 septembre 2013. L’occasion également d’annoncer la date de lancement d’iOS 7 qui aura lieu le 18 septembre.
L’iPhone 5C
L’iPhone 5c, «plus fun et plus coloré»,proposé à 99 dollars pour le modèle 16 Go et 199 dollars pour le 32 Go avec un abonnement de deux ans, ce qui hors forfait, n’en fait pas un smartphone à bas prix, loin de là ,vendu à partir de 599 euros, difficile de le mettre dans la catégorie milieu de gamme !
Doté d’un écran Retina de 4 pouces, d’un appareil de 8 millions de pixels, d’un processeur A6,d’une batterie un peu plus imposante que celle de l’iPhone 5,et prenant en charge la LTE.
Apple l’annonce comme étant très résistant grâce à une pièce unique de polycarbonate couplé à un châssis en acier renforcé.
Autant de spécifications techniques qui en font un iPhone 5 un peu amélioré avec une compatibilité 4G LTE plus importante et une caméra FaceTime HD.
Pour le différencier, cinq couleurs ont été prévues : verte, jaune, rose, bleu et blanc à la manière des Lumia de Nokia.
Cela devrait séduire les jeunes et une partie du public féminin ,sa coque en plastique renforcé, fait un peu penser à celui des iPhone 3G et 3GS, d’autant que, comme sur ces modèles, les angles sont arrondis, ce qui tranche avec le design de l’iPhone 5. 
L’iPhone 5S
L’iPhone 5S devient le nouveau fleuron de la marque à la pomme avec des spécifications techniques alléchantes : processeur A7 avec architecture 64 bits (performances accrues), un coprocesseur de mouvement M7 (utile pour les applications de bien être et API CoreMotion ouvertes pour les développeurs), un appareil photo 8 millions de pixels avec un flash True Tone (meilleure qualité d’image), mode rafale à 10 images par seconde, mode slow motion à 120 images secondes et la grosse nouveauté, l’arrivée de la reconnaissance d’empreinte digitale avec Touch ID.
Intégrée dans le bouton principal, la technologie Touch ID prend une capture de votre empreinte digitale qui sera stockée dans la partie sécurisée du processeur A7. La reconnaissance se fait sous tous les angles et permet de déverrouiller son iPhone ou de valider les achats sur l’iTunes Store, l’App Store et l’iBooks Store.
l’ iPhone 5S est disponible en 3 coloris (gris sidéral, argent, or).
A noter que l’iPhone 5 disparaît du catalogue et devient ainsi un « iPhone collector ».
Le prix du 5S est de 199 dollars pour la version 16 Go jusqu’à 399 dollars pour la 64 Go avec abonnement de deux ans aux Etats-Unis. Hors forfait, il faudra tout de même prévoir au minimum 699 euros pour se l’offrir.
Les pré-commandes seront possibles à partir du 13 septembre et une commercialisation mondiale le 20 septembre.
Les deux appareils seront disponibles en France, aux Etats-Unis, en Chine, en Australile, en Allemagne, en Grande-Bretagne, à Singapour et au Japon à partir du 20 septembre. Ils seront notamment pour la première fois proposés aux 62 millions d’abonnés du premier opérateur de services mobiles japonais NTT Docomo.
En attendant l’iPhone 6 pour l’année prochaine.
